Local Attractions

Binegar is a small village and civil parish in Somerset, England. It is located just off the A37, 4 miles east of Wells, between Shepton Mallet and Chilcompton. It is on a main bus route for both Bath and Wells - Busses run every hour.

Local places of interest include the city of Wells with its cathedral, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Stourhead House & Garden, Longleat House & Safari Park and the Somerset & Dorset railway line.

The Royal Bath & West Showground is only a 10 minute drive. Plus Bath and Bristol are only 15 miles away.

The Horse and Jockey, our local village pub, is only a few minutes walk away from our Bed & Breakfast accommodation.

They serve a wide selection of lunches and evening meals (except Sunday evenings) and a fine selection of wines and beers with two real ales always available (Butcombe plus a guest ale). There is also an outdoor seating area for those warmer days.
